With Cataclysm Classic finally out, the demand for gold is higher than ever. Whether you're still leveling up or have already reached max level, gold is always a must for your progress and preparation for the end-game content. So, to help you out, we've put together a quick guide with three foolproof methods to quickly and efficiently acquire these precious coins.

By the way, you can also buy gold from leveling services. For example, the folks over at WowVendor offer a ton of World of Warcraft gold deals for Cataclysm and other versions of the game. They can get you any amount of WoW Cata Classic Gold you need in just a few hours, which you can use as a starter for further earning money or use immediately for all the necessary purchases.

Now, let's go earn some coins!

Easy Ways to Earn Money in Cataclysm Classic
Daily Quests
It's no secret that daily quests can earn you a ton of gold, and Cataclysm Classic is no exception.

The new Tol Barad quests give you around 50 coins each, and when you complete multiple quests, you can get a pretty decent reward. In addition, while performing these quests, you will also receive useful materials and Tol Barad Commendations, a special currency that can be exchanged for some cool items at vendors. Just make sure to complete all quests near the portal before starting Tol Barad's daily quests to maximize your profits.

Cooking and Jewelcrafting daily quests can also be very profitable. For example, Jewelcrafting quests not only drop gold, but most importantly, they also reward you with tokens that can be used to buy recipes. These recipes are very popular on the Auction House and always sell for a good price. Cooking daily quests, on the other hand, award Chefs with prizes that can also be exchanged for valuable recipes. Both of these profession quests offer a great opportunity to earn gold, and if you play well on the Auction House, you can earn up to 5,000 coins per hour.

Gathering Volatile Elements
This is a very simple way to make money that does not require any special profession or skills. The items we are interested in are various elements, such as Volatile Air, Volatile Water, Volatile Fire, and Volatile Soil. They drop from different elements and sell well on the Auction House because they are essential reagents for upgrading professions and crafting high-end items.

In Uldum, you can harvest Volatile Air by harvesting Al'Akir Spawn monsters. You can start at around level 82, which makes it easy to combine harvesting gold with leveling up your character. The downside is that Uldum is a popular questing and harvesting area, so you may face some stiff competition. If that's too crowded, head to the Twilight Bastion area to harvest Enslaved Storms.

In Twilight Highlands, you can find other volatile elements. Head to the Black Rift area to harvest Obsidian Stone Slaves monsters to harvest Volatile Soil. To get Volatile Water, teleport to Dragonmaw Harbor and head west to the area where the river forks into a stream to kill Muddy Water Elementals. This location may also be contested, so it's best to farm when there are fewer people. Enslaved Waterspouts near Victor's Point are also less populated and drop Volatile Water. From there, you can head to Ganon Hell. In the Lava River, you'll find Enslaved Infernos, which drop Volatile Fire. You can also fish this elemental out of lava pools: no special skills or equipment are required other than a basic fishing rod. Additionally, Volatile Fire can be found east of Sulfuron Spire in Mount Hyjal.

Before you start farming, we highly recommend checking the prices on the Auction House. It will tell you which Volatile Element is in the most demand so you can focus on that element for the most profit.

Gathering Professions
If Cata isn't your first World of Warcraft expansion, then you already know what to do. Materials like leather, herbs, and ores are in high demand at the start of the expansion, so as long as you keep them supplied, you'll make a huge profit on the Auction House.

We recommend upgrading professions like Mining and Herbalism first, as they have excellent money-making potential while being both lucrative and relatively easy to master. With Mining, you can mine ores, smelt them into ingots, and even prospect them into gems if you also pick up Jewelcrafting. Herbalism lets you gather and sell herbs, and you can also collect Volatile Life, which can be sold at auction for a good price.
